A slightly distant starboard side view, taken from just ahead of the beam, of the Orient Line passenger cruise ship Orontes (1929) at anchor in Lokrum roadstead, Dubrovnik, Yugoslavia. The Orontes (1929) has her aft accommodation ladders deployed and two of her boats are shuttling passengers between the ship and the shore. The photographer is on the shore of the old harbour looking east-south-east over the Kase Breakwater and many small boats are afloat in the harbour or are drawn up on the foreshore. A vertical format negative.
