The Old Town at Dubrovnik, Yugoslavia

The Old Town at Dubrovnik, Yugoslavia. The photographer is on the Minceta Tower in the north-west corner of the town walls looking south-east showing the bell tower of the Dominican Monastery on the left with the Kase Breakwater beyond it. The harbour, St. John's Fortress and the Porporela pier are in the centre. The building with the small dome is St. Blaise Church and the one on the right with the large dome is the cathedral. At anchor in Lokrum roadstead is an Orient Line passenger cruise ship and two of her boats are shuttling passengers between the ship and the shore. Lokrum Island is in the right background.
