The village of Ulvik on the west shore of Ulvikfjord, Norway, taken from on board the Orient Line passenger cruise ship Orontes (1929) which is at anchor. Two of the ship's boats are shuttling passengers between the ship and the shore. The sawmill is on the left and the Brakanes Hotel is to the left of centre. Ulvik church is to the right of centre.
