The village of Ulvik on Ulvikfjord, Norway.

The village of Ulvik on the west shore of Ulvikfjord, Norway. The photographer is looking along the shoreline and in the foreground alongside a stone quay is a steam or motor launch, seen from off her port quarter. She is registered at Haugesund and has a wheelhouse with a short mast and a bell-topped funnel abaft it, a small dinghy under davits on her cabin roof, an aft cockpit with an inboard rudder and a pointed stern. A small motor barge and a large rowing boat are moored in front of a building which has A. Hetle Skotoiforretning on it. More stone quays and wooden dwellings are on the shoreline. A wooded hill is in the background.
