HMS Ark Royal (1950)
No. 3 [Upper Hangar] Deck. View forward along the hangar's starboard longitudinal bulkhead from the vicinity of frame 174. To the left is the closed hatch of weapons/bomb lift 1/7T3. Between this and Fire Point no. 13 on the right is a variety of aircraft maintenance and safety equipment. In the foreground by the Fire Point are 5 gallon water canisters produced by the Pyrene Company as part of their range of fire fighting equipment. Above this assemblage are walkways and a large storage shelf.
