HMS Ark Royal (1950)

No. 6 [Main] Deck, location 6K0. Interior of the Weapons Transfer Space, looking to port from just aft of the central weapons lift at roughly frame 90. The hatches to this and the portside weapons lift are both open. A pair of ordnance trollies are part-on the portside weapons lift platform.

This is part of a series of photographs taken during the final stages of HMS Ark Royal's last major refit which was completed in 1970. The location references are derived from the deck plans in the latest edition of the ship's NBCD book.
