A neo-Gothic arch of four crenellated towers and arches spanning the Wellington Road at Lambton Quay, Wellington, for the visit of the Duke and Duchess of York in 1901. Above the central arch are the words 'Ma te atua korua e atawhai' [God Bless You Both/May your God be kind to you]. Framed portraits of the King, Queen and Duke and Duchess are on each of the four towers.
