A green cloth covered album containing 145 glued b/w photographs of various formats with contemporary inked captions realting to the cruise on HMS Orphir by the Duke and Duchess of York (future King George V and Queen Mary) between February and November 1901.
Neg A307 is mentioned on plate 4.
It includes images of:
- the Duke and Duchess of York, Prince Edward, Rear-Admiral Lewis A. Beaumont, Prince Alexander of Teck, Commander B.G. Geoffrey-Faussett
- the departure from Portsmouth, and return
- topographical subjects such as Malta, Aden, Singapore, Ceylon (Kandy, Colombo, Diyatalawa Camp), Australia (Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, Perth, Hobart), New Zealand (Wellington, Christchurch, Rotorua), Canada (Quebec, Ottawa, Winnipeg, Banff, Vancouver, Niagara, Toronto, Halifax)
- the Royal Australian Train.
