On board the Orient Line passenger cruise ship Orford (1928) approaching the Strait of Gibraltar. The photographer is on the starboard side of the games deck aft looking forward and to starboard showing the east side of Gibraltar. The water catchment system on the rock is evident. Lifeboats 15 and 17 are under their davits and a few passengers are near the ship's rail.
