Monte Hacho at Ceuta, Spanish Morocco
On board the P & O passenger cruise ship Strathaird (1932) in the Strait of Gibraltar looking south towards Monte Hacho at Ceuta, Morocco. The photographer is on the sports deck just abaft the bridge looking to port over the top of the barmaid type lifeboat No. 6. Monte Hacho is located on the Península de Almina on the east side of Ceuta and is topped by the byzantine Fortaleza de Hacho.
