A slightly distant view of the east side of Gibraltar from on board the passenger cruise ship Viceroy of India (1929)

A slightly distant view of the east side of Gibraltar from on board the P. & O. passenger cruise ship Viceroy of India (1929) which is passing into the Mediterranean. The weather conditions are dull but the water catchment area can be seen on the slopes between the summits. The photographer is on the centreline at the aft end of the promenade deck looking to port and slightly forward showing a number of people at the ship's rail looking through binoculars.
