A distant view of Europa Flats and Windmill Hill, Gibraltar, from on board the P. & O. passenger cruise ship Viceroy of India (1929) which is passing into the Mediterranean south of the rock. The photographer is on the aft end of the promenade deck house looking forward and to port showing a large number of people crowding the ship's rail for a view of the rock. Stairs down to the next deck are in the foreground and a motor lifeboat in its davits is on the right.
