Catalan Bay on the east side of Gibraltar.
Catalan Bay on the east side of Gibraltar. The photographer is by the shore on the north-east corner of Gibraltar looking south along the coast. A large number of boats are drawn up on the beach in front of the houses. One of the buildings is advertising Simonds pale ales and stout. Washing is hanging on lines on the beach or is draped over some of the boats. A few people are in the water. The rock promontory on the left is called St. Abbs Head. The rainwater catchment area above the village can just be seen.
