A gathering of the combined British Fleets in the harbour and bay at Gibraltar.

Royal Navy ships crowded into the harbour and the bay at Gibraltar. The photographer is on the slope above the Alameda Gardens looking west showing the battleship Queen Elizabeth (1913) with the destroyer Valentine (1917) outboard, the battleship Nelson (1925) with two destroyers including the Vanquisher (1917) outboard and the battleship Revenge (1915) with a destroyer outboard alongside the South Mole. Three destroyers and two Royal Fleet auxiliary oilers are alongside the dockyard wharf and a Ceres class (1917) light cruiser is at anchor in the harbour. The battlecruiser Renown (1916), the battleship Rodney (1925), a Leander class light cruiser and a Queen Elizabeth class battleship are at anchor in the Bay of Gibraltar.
