A slightly distant starboard side view of the Royal Navy battleship Rodney (1925) just under way in the Bay of Gibraltar. She has not yet been fitted with the aircraft catapult on 'C' turret. The photographer is on the games deck of an unidentified passenger cruise ship looking north-east showing the Western Arm on the left and Willis Battery peak on the right. Five passengers and a crew member are standing by the cruise ship's rail looking towards the battleship.
