The photographer is at the rear of the starboard side of the bridge looking to port and aft showing two crew members painting the port kingpost at the forward end of the boatdeck. Willis Battery peak is on the left and Signal Hill is to the right of the kingpost. The Moorish Castle can be seen above the forward davit of No. 6 lifeboat.
