The east side of Gibraltar seen from on board the Orient Line passenger cruise ship Orford (1928) passing to the south of the rock. The photographer is on the starboard side of the promenade deck aft looking forward and to starboard showing a few people on deck including a man using a telescope. Two of the ship's lifeboats are in their davits on the left. Europa Flats are on the left with Windmill Hill in the centre. The rainwater catchment area below Signal Hill can be clearly seen and Willis Battery peak is on the right.
