The east side of Gibraltar seen from on board the Orient Line passenger cruise ship Orford (1928) passing to the south of the rock. The photographer is on the starboard side of the promenade deck aft looking forward and to starboard showing some passengers lining the rail. One of the ship's lifeboats is in its davits on the left. Windmill Hill is to the left of centre. The rainwater catchment area below Signal Hill can be clearly seen and Willis Battery peak is on the right. The top of the rock is partially obscured by low cloud.
