A port bow view of the Orient Line cruise ship Orford (1928) moored in the Canale della Giudecca in the vicinity of Zattere at Venice, Italy. She is dressed overall and the Blue Peter flag is being flown at the starboard yardarm on the foremast. Photographed from the waterfront in the vicinity of the Fondamenta delle Zattere and the maritime passenger terminal. Giudecca is beyond the ship, on the far side of the canal, with the Molino Stucky building prominent on the waterfront. A gondola with passengers and gondolier are in the foreground near the quayside. The negative is slightly out of focus.
