A port broadside view of the Orient Line cruise ship Orford (1928) anchored in Sognefjord off Balholm, Norway. Her port anchor is deployed, an accommodation ladder is rigged to the main deck aft and various boats are in attendance. The Blue Peter flag is being flown at the port yardarm on the foremast. Lifeboat number 18 has been launched and lifeboat number 4 is swung out and suspended in its falls at boat deck level. The photographer is in a slightly elevated position ashore and foliage is in the foreground.
