The American Shed on the Stigbergskajen at Gothenburg, Sweden. The shed is crowded with people. In the left background is the Masthugget Church and on the right is the Sjomanstornet (Seaman's tower monument) erected in 1933. The photographer is on board the passenger cruise ship Gripsholm (1925) which is standing off the quay, presumably arriving at the port.
