The coast road at St. George's, Grenada

The coast road on the north west side of the town of St. George's on the island of Grenada. The photographer is looking seaward across the road on which a woman is walking with a basket on her head and a clay pipe in her mouth. A water standpipe on a concrete base is on the right of the picture. Anchored off the coast is an unidentified general cargo ship and the Orient line passenger cruise ship Orford (1928), which is seen from just ahead of her starboard beam. A vertical format negative.
