The coast road at St. George's, Grenada

The coast road on the north west side of the town of St. George's on the island of Grenada. The photographer is looking seaward across the road on which a woman is collecting water from a water standpipe on a concrete base. A sign on a telephone pole is advertising Firestone Tires and another sign on a post is advising of a "Speed limit for motor cars in town ten miles an hour". Anchored off the coast is the Swedish-America Line passenger cruise ship Kungsholm (1928), which is seen from off her port bow. A vertical format negative.
