Part of the harbour at St. George's on the island of Grenada. The photographer is looking west-by-north across the harbour from the east side showing commercial premises fronting the harbour. The General Post Office is to the left of centre with the four spired tower of St Andrew's Presbyterian Church beyond it. Motor cars are parked on the quayside and many people are assembled near boats alongside the quay to the right of centre. An hand operated crane is also on the quayside on the right. On the extreme right is the square tower of the Anglican Church.
