The harbour and town at St. George's, Grenada
The harbour and town at St. George's on the island of Grenada. The photographer is looking west across the harbour and town from high ground to the east. The harbour on the left is almost hidden by trees. Fort George is on the headland on the left. Two churches can be seen close to Fort George; the one on the left with the spired tower is St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church, the one next to it is the Anglican Church. On the right is the cathedral. An unidentified general cargo steamship and the Orient Line passenger cruise ship Orford (1928) are at anchor off the coast and she is dressed overall.
