The town and shipping at St. George's on the island of Grenada
Looking down St. John's Street in St. George's on the island of Grenada. People and motor cars are in the street which has a number of shops in it including a bakery, supply stores and a shop called Everybody's. The photographer is looking west from the top of the street showing the Canadian National Steamships passenger/cargo liner Lady Drake (1928) and the White Star Line passenger cruise ship Britannic (1930) at anchor in St. George's Bay. The Royal Navy cadet training cruiser Frobisher (1920) is also in the bay but is almost totally hidden by the corrugated iron roof on the right.
