A group of cruise ship officers at the North Cape, Norway
18 Mercant Navy officers lined up for the camera in front of the North direction sign at the North Cape (Nordkapp) in Norway. Some of the men are wearing bow ties, indicating this may be a special celebratory occasion and the differences in uniform would suggest that these men are from more than one ship. It is almost certain that they are all from passenger cruise ships which have anchored off the Cape so that their passengers can experience the Land of the Midnight Sun.
