A distant starboard broadside view of the Orient Line cruise ship Orford (1928) at anchor off Abbazia, Italy. She has her starboard anchor deployed, an accommodation ladder is rigged to her main deck aft and she is flying the Blue Peter flag at the port yardarm on the foremast. Lifeboat number 19 has been launched. Bathing huts are close to the shore on the left with a platform on piles and steps leading directly down to the water. Several people are bathing in the foreground and sitting on small wooden floating pontoons. Negatives numbers P84311 to P84314 inclusive were taken on the same occasion.
