Two Laplander men traders sitting on the quayside at Hammerfest, Norway. They are in national costume and are selling hand-made footwear and implements made from reindeer antler horns which are laid out on a packing case. Written on the packing case is C.A. H.FEST. The town of Hammerfest was totally destroyed by German forces in early 1945 and none of the buildings in this photograph survived. A vertical format negative. See also negative number P92125.
