A slightly distant starboard broadside view of the Orient Line cruise ship Orford (1928) at anchor off Abbazia, Italy.
A slightly distant starboard broadside view of the Orient Line cruise ship Orford (1928) at anchor off Abbazia, Italy. She has her starboard anchor deployed, an accommodation ladder is rigged to her main deck aft and she is flying the Blue Peter flag at the port yardarm on the foremast. A number of the ship's boats are in the water alongside or suspended in their falls. The photographer is on shore close to a small paved and railed lookout point overhung by a tree on the left. A rocky topped breakwater enclosing the small boat harbour is on the right.
