A street scene in the Molla district of the town of Hammerfest, Norway. The photographer is looking north from the foot of the Sadlen showing the timber built houses in this part of the town. The northern mountains of Klavo are in the background. The town of Hammerfest was totally destroyed by German forces in early 1945 and none of the buildings in this photograph survived.
