Two Laplander men traders on the quayside at Hammerfest, Norway. They are in national costume and are selling animal skins, hand-made footwear and implements made from reindeer antler horns which are laid out on a packing case. A wooden built warehouse is in the background. The town of Hammerfest was totally destroyed by German forces in early 1945 and none of the buildings in this photograph survived.
