The Canal de Entrada (harbour entrance channel) at Havana, Cuba. The photographer is looking south-west from the east side of the canal showing many wooden slatted boat shaped objects on the quay in the foreground and two 2-masted schooners moored in the canal. On the west bank the ground is being prepared for the laying out and planting of the Parque Luz Caballero and the Parque Cespedes. In the centre background is the domed Capitolio Nacional de Cuba which was completed in May 1929.
