Sampans and small fishing junks in Aberdeen harbour, Hong Kong Island. The photographer is on the quayside just behind a person who is holding a woven bag. Many of the boats have large numbers of bamboo baskets and wooden buckets on board. This vertical format negative was taken during a world cruise by the Cunard Line ship Franconia (1923).
