Sampans and small junks in Victoria harbour, Hong Kong. The photographer is on the quayside looking at single masted sampans being sculled, a pram dinghy being sculled and a small single masted junk under sail. The junk has the number 8 on the stern and has a perforated rudder. A tug with a lighter being towed alongside is on the right. Hong Kong Island is in the background. This negative was taken during a world cruise by the Cunard Line ship Franconia (1923).
