Sampans and small fishing junks in Aberdeen harbour, Hong Kong Island. The photographer is on the quayside looking towards the harbour mouth. Many of the junks have hoisted their fishing nets to dry. On the right is a bluff bowed wooden pontoon houseboat. This negative was taken during a world cruise by the Cunard Line ship Franconia (1923).
