Residential sampans and a deep-sea fisher junk in a bay on Hong Kong Island. The sampans are in the foreground and are seen from astern; two being numbered 4876A and 5180A. Under sail in the centre of the picture and seen from well abaft her port beam is a three masted ha kau tor or deep-sea trawler. The precise location of this image is unknown but it may be at Aberdeen harbour. A vertical format negative.
