The monument to Slav Freedom on the Riva at Hvar, Croatia.

The monument to Slav Freedom on the Riva at Hvar, Croatia. The monument comprises a stepped plinth at the bottom on which is a table supported on twelve columns. On this table is a four sided plinth with full length human carvings on each face and this is topped by a sculpture of a winged dragon, a naked woman and a naked winged man. A row of mature pineapple palms are between the monument and the harbour and in the background beyond the harbour is St. Mark's Church tower and steeple.
