The photographer is looking north-west from seaward showing the walled enclosure of Dalt Vila with the Cathedral of Our Lady of the Snows on top of the Dalt Vila hill. The harbour breakwater is on the right and some of the town buildings can be seen beyond it. The wooded hillsides on the right are sparsely developed. The negative is slightly out of focus and is captioned Iviza.
