Anchored on the left and seen from fine off her starboard bow is a Spanish Navy cruiser of the Principe Alfonso (1925) class. The Dalt Vila and its ramparts and the Cathedral of Our Lady of the Snows are to the left of centre. The photographer is on board the Orient Line passenger cruise ship Orontes (1929) looking forward from the port side of the stern showing some of her lifeboats swung out. The negative is captioned Iviza.
