Ships Cover for the composite paddle vessel HMS Triton (1882). The documentation in this rather short Cover includes the original design proposal and specifications, statements of dimensions and weights [including comparisons with other Special Service Vessels such as HMS Niger [later Cockatrice] (1880)], mast and spar arrangement, stability calculations and assigned crew complement. The earliest papers date from May 1880 during the period of the early design phase while the last one dates from March 1903, when the ship was in the middle of her lengthy career.
