Ships Cover for HMS Medea (1888).
Ships Cover for the Medea class third [previously second] class protected cruiser HMS Medea (1888). The documentation in this very brief cover relates to a proposal [never implemented] to convert the ship to a depot for C class submarines based at Alexandria. In addition to some drawings and tracings there are a number of written suggestions concerning the use of the engineers workshop spaces and a tentative scheme of complement for the Medea as a depot ship. The papers run from February to September 1913.
