Ships Cover for 26 and 27 knot torpedo boat destroyers (1893-1895).

Ships Cover for the forty two vessels of the 26 and 27 knot torpedo boat destroyers (1893-1895). The documentation mainly relates to surveys and condition reports, stability calculations, masts and yards fitted for those members of the class engaged in seagoing service, trial reports, and maintenance cost estimates. Two documents of note are a detailed report of the Banshee surviving a storm in the Mediterranean in early 1911, and a report of the firing trials conducted on the Zebra in late 1913 to test the effects of shellfire on a destroyer with fuel-oil in its bunkers.
