The documentation mainly comprises correspondence with the contractors and details of tenders, alterations and refits, a copy of the design proposal for this group of torpedo boats, trial reports and stability calculations. There are also two documents relating to French construction of equivalent vessels from 1891 and 1902. The papers commence in May 1892 with the placing of the first orders and end in May 1910.
