Ships Cover for the Eclipse class second class protected cruisers HMS Diana (1895), HMS Dido (1896), HMS Doris (1896), HMS Eclipse (1894), HMS Isis (1896), HMS Juno (1895), HMS Minerva (1895), HMS Talbot (1895) and HMS Venus (1895). The documentation mainly comprises details of alterations made to the ships, some trial reports, stability calculations, schemes of complement, some details of fittings and a number of condition, damage and accident reports. The earliest papers date from January 1894, roughly when the class was authorised, while the latest are dated July 1917, by which point all were engaged in second-line or static duties.
