Ships Cover for the 160ft first class torpedo boats TB 98, 99, and 107-117 (1900-1905). The documentation mainly comprises proposed alterations to the basic TB design for future orders, comparisons of British designs with each other and those of foreign powers, details of tenders and correspondence with contractors, schemes of complement, details of armament and ammunition allowance, vessel condition reports, details of anchors, cables and some other fittings, stability calculations, reports of various trials, and details of alterations and reports of effects these had on vessel performance. The earliest papers date from November 1898 and the last from January 1905.
