Ships Cover for Admiralty Department of Works dredgers of various types (1906-1924). The majority of the documentation in this relatively diminutive Cover deals with Portsmouth YC [yard craft] 77 (1907) and the acquisition of a new dredger for Sheerness. The papers mostly relate to cost estimates, correspondence with contractors and details of tenders, and specifications for the new vessels. The earliest papers date from April 1906 and the last from February 1924. This Cover comprises both this and a separate volume, also numbered 170A.
