Ships Cover for Devonshire class first class armoured cruisers
Ships Cover for the Devonshire class first class armoured cruisers HMS Antrim (1903), HMS Argyll (1904), HMS Carnarvon (1903), HMS Devonshire (1904), HMS Hampshire (1903) and HMS Roxburgh (1904). The documentation mainly comprises details of ships fittings and equipment, details of alterations proposed and those carried out, lists of defects and reported problems, schemes of complement, vessel condition and some wartime damage reports, and stability calculations. The earliest papers date from January 1905 when the class was nearing completion and the last from October 1921 when the four remaining ships were sold.
