Ship cover for depot ships, circa 1902-1922
Ships Cover for all vessels converted for depot, accommodation or training purposes between 1902 and 1922. The documentation is fairly eclectic, but generally comprises proposals for the conversion of old warships to their new duties and details of the work to be carried out, schemes of complement, cost estimates, lists of equipment and fittings, condition reports, stability calculations and details of alterations. The earliest piece of correspondence is dated April 1902 and the last November 1922.
