Ships Cover for the Lord Nelson class first class battleships HMS Agamemnon (1906) and HMS Lord Nelson (1906). The documentation mainly comprises statements of dimensions and estimates of weights, details of the armament arrangement, composition, associated mountings and gear, and ammunition allowance, details of alterations made to the design and general correspondence relating to these changes, abstracts of tenders and correspondence with contractors, and papers covering vessel equipment, fittings and machinery. The earliest papers date from December 1902 early in the design process and the last from July 1905, shortly after the keels of both ships had been laid.
